Democrats help increase poverty

Our president loves to brag about how well the economy is doing and that the unemployment rate is the lowest in years. Pretty neat! Unfortunately the newest census data shows that median family income keeps declining and the poverty rate among blacks rose almost 600,000 in 2014 - half of those were under 18.

Last year the poverty rate among blacks was 26.2 percent, up from 25.8 percent in 2009. Is that improvement, Mr. President?

In fact, there are 3 million more people in poverty now then when our president took office. I guess liberal Democrats are truly the party that helps the poor.

It helps their numbers grow so more welfare programs make the poor loyal supporters.
