Special Olympics Coaster Challenge

Special Olympics Illinois will host the 2nd annual Coaster Challenge on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee. The inaugural challenge attracted about 200 registered participants who raised $50,000. Participants register, raise money and ride the distance of a 5K, 10K or 26.2-mile marathon on Great America's roller coasters. To register, visit coasterchallenge.com.
