Victories for Vernon Hills, Antioch
Chris White scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season, and Vernon Hills' boys soccer team beat Grant 4-1 in North Suburban Prairie Division action Friday.
Andre Smyzt and Matt Gramins got the other goals for the Cougars (6-4, 2-2), while Brennan Reback recorded the win in net with 5 saves.
Grant keeper Nathan Munsterman made 14 saves.
Antioch 3, Freeport 1: Luke Semitka netted his ninth goal of the season and added an assist, and Danny Brito notched his 13th assist of the season for the Sequoits.
Gabe Tijerina and R.J. Vasquez also scored for Antioch (7-4), which won its fourth straight. Bart Krumpos had an assist as well.
