Goodwin School McTeachers sing all night

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, Goodwin School held a McTeacher's Night at the North Aurora McDonald's to raise money for the PTA.

Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money.

The Goodwin families all came to support their McTeacher's Night fundraiser and the night was a huge singing success.

The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers making ice cream and shakes and most of all lots of teachers singing for tips. One very special first-grade teacher even had her ice cream cone specially made by McPrincipal Halverson.

A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made the evening extra special. Ronald McDonald went table to table and took time to meet all the Kids from Goodwin. A very very special thank you goes out to Cala Brown and MaryEllen Stroup who both worked very hard to organize the entire event. The PTA plans to put the money raised into the PTA fund to go towards classroom needs.
