Tenuta paces Prospect's victory

Boys golf

Nick Tenuta shot 38 and teammates Robert Garmoe and Brendan O'Brien came in at 40 to lead Prospect's boys golf team past Schaumburg on Tuesday in Mid-Suburban League action.

The Knights shot 160 at par-35 Schaumburg Golf Club, while the Saxons finished at 174.

The low score for Schaumburg came from Nick Tudor (41).

• Deerfield topped Maine West 154-168 in CSL North play. Cody Fitzgerald (40) and Troy Johnson (41) had the low scores for the Warriors.

• Matt O'Grady's 41 led the way as Rolling Meadows topped Buffalo Grove 167-177 at Buffalo Grove Golf Club.

James O'Donnell, Kyle Sheridan and Nick Rhyan each shot 42 for the Mustangs. John Weiss shot 42 to lead the Bison.
