The celebration will begin with the 9 a.m. service Sunday, Sept. 20, led by the Rev. Sally Dyck, Bishop of the Northern Illinois Conference, Rev. Darneather Murph-Heath, District Superintendent of the Elgin District, and the Rev. Soon Sun Lee. The Holy Communion will be led by Rev. Dyck and Celebration Speech by Rev. Murph-Heath.

At 10:15 a.m., a reception will be held in the dining room with cake, coffee and punch. At 11:30 a.m., the video presentation of the history of this faithful congregation will be led by church historian Nancy Wendt. This presentation also will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in the sanctuary during the open house that day.

In addition, a memorabilia and story board presentation can be viewed in the Fireside Room during the open house held on both Saturday and Sunday during Heritage Fest.

The church will have its Heritage Fest food booth open, with a $5 meal deal, serving barbecue pork, walking taco, chips, soda, water, and dessert. The booth will be located on Fourth street of the church property.
