Spring Wood Middle School McTeachers

On Tuesday, September 8th, Spring Wood Middle School held a McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's at 1050 East Lake Street in Hanover Park, Illinois. Teachers had an overwhelmingly positive presence at the restaurant while serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school.

Spring Wood teachers all worked very hard.The McTeacher jobs included: drive-thru teachers, greeters, front counter teachers, teachers making smoothies and ice cream and teachers selling pies in a pie costume. Spring Wood McTeachers had it all covered and the families all had a great time. The school plans to put the money raised into a fund for buses for various field trips.

Many kids came to see their teachers work at the Hanover Park McDonald's. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. Principal Barringer and Assistant Principal Bocian helped make the night extra special with their support. A special thank you goes out to Melissa Thorsen, who organized the entire event.
