Outlook: This is the West Suburban Gold opener for both teams. It should be even a better one for Leyden as it faces a Proviso East team that has yet to find the end zone this year while having given up 57 points. Leyden looked good in its season opener, but the Eagles had trouble holding on to a lead and dropped a tough 21-14 decision to York in Week 2. David DeMarais had another good game, rushing for 127 yards to bring his season total to 263 on 29 carries.
