Skinny: Lake Zurich is trying to avoid its first 0-3 start since 2001, when it was a member of the Fox Valley Conference. The Bears have scored just 22 points in the first two weeks of the season against perennial powers Fremd and Cary-Grove. Stevenson got QB Jack Sorenson back for its Week-2 showdown with Homewood-Flossmoor, after he got injured in the opening quarter of the Patriots' season opener. Sorenson ran for a pair of scores and passed for one. Patriots wide receiver Henry Marchese has 15 receptions, including 3 for touchdowns.
