Thanks and shame for arbitration votes

I want to publicly thank my state representative, Barb Wheeler, for her vote to not override the governor's veto of SB1229. This bill would have stripped the taxpayers of their right to control costs in government.

Not surprisingly, Sam Yingling, who supposedly represents the adjoining district, joined the unions and supported their outrageous demands.

Then I checked the state records from last year's election and discovered that Sam Yingling spent almost $1 million on his election campaign. And an overwhelming majority of that money came from Mike Madigan and the unions.

Thank you, Barb Wheeler, and shame on you, Sam Yingling.
