Downed pole closes Route 25 in St. Charles

Route 25 remains closed between Country Club Road and Sunset Drive in St. Charles due to a downed utility pole, authorities said.
The pole dropped due to an accident earlier Thursday, authorities said.
The cause of the crash and the number of injuries in the crash are unknown. It's also unknown how long the road will remain closed.
