Sikich acquires Milwaukee-based company's accoutning, tax services

NAPERVILLE - Professional services firm Sikich LLP said it has acquired the audit, accounting and tax practice of Milwaukee-based Jannsen + Company.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced. Sikich's said the move will expand the company's robust presence in the Milwaukee area and strengthen the firm's service offerings.

Sikich offers its full range of services, including audit, accounting and tax, technology, investment banking as well as a wide mix of advisory and managed services, out of its Milwaukee-area office.

"Jannsen has a proven track record of success and adds key talent to our public accounting team as we continue to grow in the Milwaukee market," said Mark Sobczak, CPA, the partner-in-charge of Sikich's Milwaukee-area office. "Sikich and Jannsen are complementary organizations and, together, we look forward to continuing to deliver high-level services to our clients in the region."

Jannsen's audit, accounting and tax team will join Sikich's Milwaukee-area office in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Jannsen's wealth management and information technology groups will remain separate entities.

Beine and fellow Jannsen shareholders Dan Beine and Tom Hicken will join the firm as Sikich partners.
