River City Church invites you to grand opening Sunday
River City Church will host a grand opening for its new home at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Sunday gatherings are 10 a.m. at the Kirk Road Facility, 3450 Swenson Ave., St. Charles.
River City has been a portable church meeting in the Batavia Fine Arts Centre since January 2013.
"Moving into the building is an awesome opportunity for us to reach people we could not have reached before," said Family Pastor Dan Dominguez. "We want to take what we are doing well with the kids and make it even better by creating an environment that is welcoming and conducive to encountering God. This location lets us do that."
To celebrate the move, River City's grand opening will be open to everyone and include games, a time of worship and food.
"It has been great to have a front seat to see how God has been faithful to River City Church," said Damian McCrink, lead pastor. "I love seeing people's lives changed and see them engaged in community. We have already seen quite a few new people, families and children join us for Sunday services."
"River City Church leads people of the Fox River Valley from where they are to where God wants them to be. Wherever you are at on your journey, there is a place for you at River City Church. River City Church has a highly relational, culturally relevant, and spiritual refreshing environment. Additionally, RCC strongly believe in loving and serving in our community and are involved in several annual events in Batavia. RCC desires to serve St. Charles, Geneva, North Aurora and the rest of the Fox River Valley as God leads us toward opportunities in the future."
"God is moving in the Tri-Cities and entire Fox River Valley, and River City is excited and amazed to be a part of it," McCrink said.
