Hoffman Estates hosts Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony Friday

Hoffman Estates will hold a Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony at 5 p.m. Friday, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

Schaumburg Fire Department Lt. John Schneidwind, a 9/11 first responder, will be the featured speaker. Schneidwind will share his firsthand experience of assisting at ground zero at the World Trade Center in New York after the terrorist attacks.
