Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund offers financial literacy workshop
The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund - the best-funded statewide public pension plan - hosted a financial literacy workshop, "10 Ways to Simplify Finances," in Arlington Heights on Sept. 3.
More than 45 workshop attendees learned common and sophisticated ways to automate, streamline and organize their finances. The workshop also included ideas for managing income and expenses, investments and even estate planning.
This particular workshop was the first in a series of six financial literacy workshops that will be offered to IMRF retirees this fall.
