Boys soccer: Streamwood blanks Buffalo Grove

Streamwood's boys soccer team won for the fourth time in five outings this season Wednesday, beating Buffalo Grove 2-0 in the New Trier Northside College Showcase Tournament.

Brian Benitez and Edwin Rueda scored the Sabres' goals with assists from Erie Ortiz and Jair Zuniga respectively.

Daniel Dominguez made 3 saves in goal for Streamwood, his third straight shutout and fourth overall.
