Dundee Township Rotary Club sponsors 'Thanks Giving Back' raffle

To raise funds benefiting community efforts and local high school student scholarships, the Dundee Township Rotary Club is sponsoring a special "Thanks Giving Back" raffle.

In addition to its current fundraising activities, such as weekly meeting raffles and a major Citrus Sale in the fourth quarter, the Dundee Township Rotary Club is continuing its third annual "Thanks Giving Back Raffle" this year and marketing it throughout the entire community.

"We are committed to this project and raise $10,000 to give back to our community," said Mary Stanley, club member and raffle committee chair.

Raffle tickets are $20 each and only 500 will be sold. The raffle drawing will be held Sept. 22. Prizes include:

• United Center box suite for Chicago Blackhawks vs. Dallas Stars on Oct. 3, which includes up to 14 guests and four parking passes.

• Merchant cards, value $1,000

• Boulder Ridge Dining room only gift card, value $500

• Spring Hill Mall merchant gift cards, value $500

• Randall Oaks Fitness Center 1-year membership

• Merchant gift cards, value $250

• Randall Oaks Golf outing for four with two golf cart rentals

• Morkes Childrens birthday party, value $160

• Elgin Symphony Orchestra's "Magical Music of Disney" concert Nov. 28, four tickets, and dinner gift at Alexander's Café

• Spa Bleu Spa Day

For the past 35 years, the Dundee Township Rotary Club has had a significant impact on the Dundee Township community. The club is comprised of 37 members, local business owners and managers, both active and retired.

Tickets are available for purchase from club members. The Dundee Township Rotary Club Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your donation is tax deductible.
