Be a reserve deputy

The Lake County sheriff's office is accepting applications for reserve deputies. Reserve deputies are volunteers who assist with crowd and traffic control, DUI patrols and other police tasks. They are not officers. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, U.S. citizens, Lake County residents and high school graduates. Applications are available at the sheriff's office, 25 S.
