Wheeling drops opener at Glenbrook North

Wheeling's football team started its season with a 40-34 at Glenbrook North on Friday in nonconference play.

The Wildcats go on the road a second straight time in Week 2, as they begin Mid-Suburban League crossovers with a contest at Palatine on Friday. Both teams will be seeking their first victory.
