St. Charles library hosts 'Social Security Filing Options' Sept. 15
Social Security is the U.S.'s single largest federal program and the sole means of support for many retirees.
The St. Charles Public Library will host "Social Security Filing Options" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, in the library's Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.
This program, presented by Michael Heatwole from Waddell & Reed Financial Advisors, will discuss different filing options available to married couples, divorced individuals and widows.
These alternate filing options can often provide monthly lifetime Social Security benefits higher than the standard filing options that are typically selected.
Michael Heatwole is a financial advisor at Waddell & Reed in Schaumburg. Heatwole is registered as an investment adviser representative.
Registration is required for this free program. Workbooks will be provided to session participants.
