Auditions for 'Shrek: The Musical' in Antioch

Auditions for "Shrek: The Musical" will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the PM&L Theatre, 877 Main St., Antioch. Auditioners are asked to prepare a song and will be cold-reading from the script. The Musical will be directed by Donna Badtke whose recent PM&L directing credits include "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Pride and Prejudice." There are several parts for men and women. There are also four available roles that may be cast with children. The show opens Friday, Oct. 30, and will run Friday to Sunday for three weekends.
