Man climbs in window, assaults Arlington Hts. woman

Arlington Heights police on Saturday offered no new information on a sexual assault that occurred late Thursday in Church Creek, an assisted living and retirement community located near Central Road and Dwyer Avenue.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man entered through an unlocked window, police said. The woman is being treated at a hospital, and police do not yet have a description of the offender to publicize, they said in a news release Friday afternoon.
