Medinah Park District celebrates 50 years

Medinah Park District will celebrate 50 years of service with a dedication and cake-cutting as part of its annual Family Fest.

The celebration runs noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Thorndale Park, 22W130 Thorndale Ave. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend.

The party will include music by the Rick Lindy Band and the Northwest Suburban Concert Band as well as a craft show and business expo, inflatables, Polish folk dancing and a petting zoo.
