Maine West High School Class of 1970 Plans Reunion

Several members of Maine West Class of 1970 are planning a 45th class reunion. Invitations went out in early August via email or postal mail. Two events are scheduled.

The first is on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 7-11 pm. An informal meet-and-greet gathering is planned at Giuseppe's La Cantina, 1062 Lee Street, Des Plaines. A $15 in advance reservation/ $20 at the door includes a pizza buffet; a cash bar will be available.

For those who are interested in attending, the Maine West 2015 Homecoming Football game is scheduled at 7 pm that evening. Maine West will be playing Maine East. Classmates should feel free to stop by the game first and come over to Giuseppe's at half time.

The second event is on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 7-11 pm. This dinner event will be held at Rob Roy Golf Course Banquet Hall, 505 E. Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights. A $40 in advance reservation will include appetizers, buffet dinner, dessert tray and musical entertainment. Again, a cash bar will be available.

Unfortunately, many members of the Class of 1970 are "lost." There are over 100 members who did not receive an invitation because no current email, address or phone number was available to the committee.
