Good luck with that quiet zone

Good luck to South Elgin with its establishment of a quiet zone to keep trains from blasting their horns by the River Crossing condo complex.

Bartlett established a "no horn zone" years ago for the downtown area, but some of Metra's cowboy engineers still like to blast the horn next to our Bartlett Town Center complex when coming into town.

Maybe South Elgin will have better luck.
