Music fest to benefit Lake County forest preserves

A day of music and family fun while in support of the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves will be offered at the 3rd Annual Fred Fest from 1 p.m. to dusk Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Fox River Forest Preserve, 28500 W. Roberts Road, Port Barrington. The musical lineup features five popular Barrington-area musicians and bands, as well as a variety of children's activities.
