Run as your favorite superhero in Bartlett

The Bartlett Park District is inviting residents to dress up as their favorite superhero, trusted sidekick or villain and conquer a two-mile Superhero Dash obstacle course on Saturday, Aug. 22. The race starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Bartlett Nature Center on Stearns Road, and racers will encounter obstacles that require good balance and quick thinking. After the race, "Big Hero 6" will be shown in the park once the sun sets. Early registration, through noon on Aug. 14, guarantees runners a superhero action pack and T-shirt.
