Northwest Community Healthcare names new CFO

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Northwest Community Healthcare has named John Skeans as chief financial officer of the health care system.

Skeans, 54, comes to NCH after serving as CFO at SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He also has previously served as CFO at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Va., and at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. Skeans will bring more than 23 years of experience and knowledge in accounting, budgeting and financial leadership to NCH. Skeans brings a wealth of experience in financial and business leadership roles with various hospitals and health care systems, as well as consulting organizations.

"John's financial leadership will greatly benefit NCH," said NCH CEO Steve Scogna.

Skeans currently lives in Palatine with his wife, Tamera, and two children.
