No injuries in Naperville fire late Thursday

No injuries were reported in a kitchen fire on the 200 block of Tamarack Drive in Naperville late Thursday night, authorities said.

Naperville firefighters received a 911 call at 9:08 p.m. about a fire in an appliance, officials said.

The first firefighter on the scene said both occupants were out of the building when crews arrived.

The fire was extinguished quickly using a chemical extinguisher.

Damage was isolated to the kitchen, authorities said.

The building was deemed not habitable, authorities said. The residents were relocated for the evening.

The fire was determined to be accidental.
