Hanover Township backpack giveaway set for Aug. 12

Hanover Township is offering free backpacks filled with school supplies to township residents for its annual backpack giveaway.

Students in grades K-6 and their families can pick up backpacks Aug. 12 starting at 9 a.m. at Laurel Hill Elementary School.

Backpacks are limited to one per child with proof of Hanover Township residency., and will be available while supplies last.

The Hanover Township gave away more than 1,000 back packs filled with school supplies last year.
