Where you can shred old papers in Maine Township

Maine Township will host a document shredding event Saturday in which residents can bring up to three grocery bags full of papers for destruction.

The shredding will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Town Hall parking lot, 1700 Ballard Road in Park Ridge.

Opportunity Secure Data Destruction Co., a division of Glenkirk Enterprises, will shred the documents, which people will be able to view on a monitor outside the truck.
