2015 Naperville All-City Junior Tennis Tournament Winners Announced

Youth tennis players in Naperville had the opportunity to compete in the Naperville Park District's annual All-City Junior Tennis Tournament, hosted at Knoch Park July 17-18. Singles matches were played in three age categories involving a total of 27 players.

The results are as follows:

Girls Singles

10 & under: Anjali Bhawnani, Champion; Allison Opalka, Finalist

12 & under: Elena Morton, Champion; Yurui Sun, Finalist

Boys Singles

10 & Under: Kaiyang Sun, Champion; Alex Brown, Finalist

12 & Under: Peter Shewman, Champion; Arthur Graham, Finalist

14 & Under: Tarun Vellanki, Champion; Sivaayan Sivaparan, Finalist

Most of the entrants were participants in the Naperville Park District's Junior Tennis Program. All players received a ribbon for their participation and trophies were awarded to the champions and finalists in each division.

"We are proud of these young tennis players who competed well even in the hot temperatures," said Program Manager Gary Foiles. "With the new 10-and-under tennis court lines at Knoch Park and Nike Sports Complex, we are able to grow our youth tennis program to serve kids from age four through high school."
