Naperville Ale Fest: A cold one on a hot day

There's nothing quite like a cold one on a hot day and Naper Settlement provided a little bit of both on Saturday when it played host to the third annual Naperville Ale Fest.

The fest, held on the grounds of the 19th-century living-history museum in downtown Naperville, featured roughly 220 different American craft beers presented by about 100 brewers from the Chicago area and across the country. The fest also featured a handful of hard cider brewers, a selection of food trucks and music from the Gregory Hyde Band.

A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit the Naperville Heritage Society and Naper Settlement.
