COD agreement is just 'cleanup'

Regarding your July 12 story titled "COD faculty will drop grievances to get raises for 5 professors," your reporter missed the two most important points.

The current board is doing nothing more than abiding by the contract signed by the faculty association and the previous board and cleaning up the mess left them by the previous administration and board.

The individual who leaked this story has reasons for muddying the waters and covering up past mistakes made by said board and administration. Whoever leaked these confidential and legally protected personnel records wants the current board to fail.

Your reporter got the "who" the "what" the "when" and the "where." It's a shame he did not bother to report on the "why."
