Donations still needed for Sugar Grove fireworks

Donations are still needed to reach the $15,000 goal to fund the Bob Bohler Memorial Fireworks during the Sugar Grove Corn Boil at www.gofundme.com/sgcbfw2015. Any size donation is welcome. Your donation is 100-percent tax-deductible.

The corn boil is a free festival, with carnival, parade, food, live music. The fireworks were renamed this year to honor longtime Corn Boil volunteer and Sugar Grove trustee Bob Bohler who died of cancer in April. Bohler worked tirelessly for the community and the Corn Boil and was the driving force behind each and every fireworks display. Help bring Bob's fireworks back to the Corn Boil as they continue the tradition in his memory.

They are asking for your assistance in helping to keep the fireworks tradition alive with any donation.

The Saturday night fireworks display is the focal point of the weekend and through the years has provided enjoyment to generations of family and friends.

Celebrating its 48th year serving the community, the Sugar Grove Corn Boil is a nonprofit organization that presents an annual community festival every July for the enjoyment of Fox Valley residents and to raise much needed funds for other local nonprofit organizations. They strive to keep the Corn Boil affordable for all by not charging entry or parking fees and relying completely on volunteers and generous sponsors.
