Bartlett firefighters to don pink for cancer awareness

Bartlett firefighters will dress in pink Wednesday to help raise money for community members with cancer and shed light on the disease.

The event is part of a nationwide tour, Pink Heals, that helps raise money for individuals, namely women, affected by cancer.

Bartlett's Pink Heals fundraiser is set to include food, live music and a pink fire truck.

All proceeds generated will be donated to Bartlett families affected by cancer.

Firefighters will be in the northwest parking lot at the corner of Route 59 and Stearns Road from 4 to 8 p.m.
