Sign up now for 13th annual Cardboard Boat Race

Join with other area businesses, community organizations and families in a competition to build the best unsinkable boat (or the silliest sinkable one).

The Fox Valley United Way's 13th annual Cardboard Boat Race will be Saturday, Aug. 15. Download your boat race packet with information about how to build your boat. Free cardboard is available.

This popular event kicks off the Fox Valley United Way's 2015-2016 fundraising campaign. It will take place on Mastodon Lake at Phillips Park in Aurora. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and awards are presented at noon, including human-powered and mechanical boat categories across junior, adult, business, nonprofit and community divisions.
