The real bullies of Benghazi

In reading Richard Cohen's column today, I noticed the glaring absence of any mention of the recently released emails by the State Department which prove that Clinton and Obama spoke the night of the Benghazi attacks.

Until the release of the emails, no one in the administration claimed to know where Obama was the night of the attacks. Yeah, right!

The emails were not voluntarily produced by the State Department. They were only produced after a request by Republicans under the Freedom of Information Act.

Furthermore, the emails clearly indicate that Hillary Clinton perpetrated the lie about the video being the cause of the attacks, as a result of which the producer of the video was arrested and incarcerated, allegedly for parole violation.

Obviously the arrest and incarceration of the video producer was accomplished to take the blame from the Obama administration and Clinton herself. How disgusting is that?

Furthermore, the number two diplomat in Libya on September 11, 2012, Gregory Hicks, stated on the Congressional record that there was never any mention of an anti-Islamic video in diplomatic communications in Libya the night of the attacks, and he was "stunned" that a video was being blamed for what was clearly a terrorist attack.

Obama refused to ever refer to it as a terrorist attack, but instead made some general statement the next morning about terror attacks not being tolerated.

Why did Mr. Cohen, in writing about Benghazi, choose to be critical of the Benghazi Committee by addressing Mr. Blumenthal's irrelevant testimony, yet completely ignore the recently released emails which prove that Obama and Clinton lied to the American people? That certainly would have been a much more relevant and compelling subject to address regarding the Benghazi debacle.

Who's bullying whom?
