Try adding almonds and amaretto for a better brownie

It's summer, which means everyone should be craving light deserts made with fruit.

Sometimes, though, you just need a decent dose of chocolate.

When that craving hits, try this classic, moist, fudgy brownie enhanced with Amaretto and almonds; you could also make them with hazelnuts, substituting Frangelico for the amaretto. The recipe works best in a 9-inch square pan, and it's perfect to take to a picnic.
