Two thumbs up for Rauner's actions

So, Donald Westlake of Wheaton does not like Gov. Rauner expounding truth about the way the state of Illinois has been run and the tactics of Madigan over the airwaves. I say, "two thumbs-up."

Unless one feels that having the state of Illinois dead last, 50th, for credit, and 49th highest in taxes, is an achievement in successful government, why in the world would you want the status quo?

I voted for Gov. Rauner to balance the budget, get the pension crisis on the right track and keep taxes in check, I am grateful he does not bow to the Democrats that gave him a budget that is unfunded by $3 billion.

I would ask, "Where will they get the $3 billion?" Oh, from the very people you believe Rauner would be hurting, the residents of Illinois.

With the lack of critical thinking and of the will to make tough decisions, this state would become another Detroit. For Gov. Rauner, he gets two thumbs-up.
