Catholic Charities seeks school supply donations in Lake County

Catholic Charities is collecting donated school supplies to be distributed to help low-income families in Lake County. Last year, more than 850 children received supplies to help them prepare for success in school. Donations these new items are needed: backpacks; #2 pencils, black and blue pens; crayons, highlighters; glue sticks, Scotch tape; spiral notebooks, loose leaf paper, index cards; pocket folders, rulers, protractors. All supplies should be delivered no later than Aug. 4 to Catholic Charities, at 671 S. Lewis Ave. in Waukegan, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
