Grass Lake Road resurfacing

The Lake County Board's public works and transportation committee on Wednesday will consider a plan to hire a Kenosha company to resurface a stretch of Grass Lake Road near Antioch. The work would be on Grass Lake Road between Grass Lake Bridge and Route 59. If the committee and the full board approve the pact, Payne & Dolan Inc. will be paid about $1.7 million for its work. The committee meets at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lake County government building in Waukegan.
