Hunters Woods Playground Reopening Celebration Planned for July 14

The Naperville Park District invites the community to help celebrate the reopening of the playground at Hunters Woods on Tuesday, July 14. The event will take place at 5:00 p.m.

Neighbors are invited to bring their families and friends to participate in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and check out the new play equipment and landscaping.

Hunters Woods is located at 2007 Lakeview Court.

In the event of inclement weather, the playground celebration will be rescheduled for Wednesday, July 15 at 5:00 p.m. Residents can check the weather cancellations tab at napervilleparks.org for the latest updates.

The playground design was based on input from neighbors and includes state-of-the-art play equipment that is accessible to children of all abilities. The playground has separate play structures for 2-5 year-olds and 5-12 year-olds, featuring tunnel slides and traditional slides, a rock climbing wall and a car spring toy. The picnic shelter has four tables with seating for approximately 30 people.
