Local real estate office organizes food drive

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Deerfield office organized volunteer efforts to benefit the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry, an organization that assists residents in the community who are struggling to provide food for their households.

In addition to supporting Habitat for Humanity and the Sunshine Kids, for one week in June every year, agents and staff of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group reach out into their communities to give their time to organizations and agencies that make a difference.

The brokers and staff of the Deerfield office collected and organized food for the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry.

"Hunger is a problem everywhere, and it's an issue that isn't always in plain view," said Michael Mazzei, senior vice president and regional managing broker of the Deerfield office. "We really wanted to assist the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry. They do a fantastic job of getting help to individuals and families."
