Crime victim forum in Fox Lake

A Crime Victim's Public Rights Forum is set for Tuesday, June 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Grant High School auditorium, 285 E. Grand Ave., Fox Lake. The forum is sponsored by state Sen. Pamela J. Althoff and Denise Rotheimer, founder of Mothers on a Mission to Stop Violence. The purpose of the forum is to educate individuals about their rights as victims of crime, victim compensation and the legal system. Panelists are Lake County State's Attorney Michael Nerheim, McHenry County State's Attorney Louis Bianchi, Round Lake Beach Deputy Police Chief Gilbert Rivera, as well as Rotheimer and Althoff.
