50th reunion party for Head Start

Community Action Partnership of Lake County will host a Head Start program 50th year reunion block party from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at its central office, 1200 W. Glen Flora Ave., Waukegan. All past and present students, staff, and families, as well as the general public, are welcome. Activities include free food, music, drill team performance, face painting, card games, children's games, bounce house and vendors. Head Start has promoted school readiness for children aged 3-5 from low-income families through partnership in the local community. The program also provides for children and their families' health, nutrition, social, and other services vital to early childhood development.
