Road work starts June 17 for portion of St. Charles

The city of St. Charles recently announced that portions of Ohio and South Fourth avenues will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning June 17 while concrete street panels are removed and replaced on the south side of Ohio Avenue, and at the intersection of South Fourth and Ohio avenues.

Road closures (open to local traffic)

• Ohio Ave. between South Third and South Sixth avenues

• South Fourth Avenue, between Indiana and South avenues for work at the intersection of Ohio and South Fourth avenues.

Streets will be closed to through traffic. Area residents will be able to access their driveways; however, they ask that vehicles be kept off the street during construction. The city appreciates your understanding during the construction.
