Abstract Art & Jazz at Arts in Bartlett June 19

The public is invited to a special event in honor of the artists in the "Daydreams: Abstract Art" exhibit now at the Bartlett Center for the Arts, 215 S. Main St.

From 7-9 p.m., Friday, June 19, join us for jazz, food and drink and be part of a conversation in the gallery about the creative process behind their abstract works in oil, watercolor, photography and mixed media. Artists include Mark Yee from Chicago, along with local artists Joanne Barsanti, Kathie Chicoine Linda Kay, Wes Lee K, Cheryl Lazopoulos, and Greta Pfeifer. Special guest artist jazz singer and songwriter Louise Kelly adds a special touch to the evening with her soulful and lyrical music. This is the second in a series of $5 Fridays being planned for the Arts Center. "Daydreams" exhibit will be on view until July 30. Email art@artsinbartlett or call 630-372-4152 for information.
