How much training can Iraqis need?

During WW II, American recruits were given seven weeks of basic training and a rifle and told to go defeat Hitler. And they did just that. The US military has been 'training' the Iraqi Army for over 10 years. We have spent tens of billions of taxpayer dollars giving them military assistance at every level. Now there is talk of sending even more U.S. troops back to Iraq to provide them with more training.

For the life of me, I can't understand what is going on over there.
