More than 60 juried artists lined Whitney Street in historic downtown Grayslake on Saturday for the 20th annual Grayslake Arts Festival.
This Grayslake Chamber of Commerce and Industry event saw a wide variety of media represented, including oil and pastel paintings, pottery, watercolor, pen and ink drawings, wood, photography, sculpture, ceramics and jewelry.
A high school art exhibit was also on display.
Throughout the day, art lovers were treated to entertainment and children's activities and enjoyed food from local vendors.
More than 2,000 visitors were expected to participate in activities throughout the day. Scheduled activities included "Decorate a Baseball Cap with Us" presented by the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum.
